Since 2012, Luis Sfeir-Younis, PhD has been mentoring a diverse group of undergraduates at the University of Michigan who are exploring and researching various topics surrounding the body and the construction of identity. The University of Michigan students also work closely with Professor Carlos Yañez and his students from la Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Manizales through regular video conversation.
